Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Barry B. Goldstein Mr. Goldstein has been Chairman of the Board of Kingstone Companies since March 2001. Since January 2006, Mr. Goldstein has served as Chairman of the Board of Kingstone Insurance Company (“KICO”) (formerly known as Commercial Mutual Insurance Company) as well as its Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Goldstein received his B.A. and M.B.A. from State University of New York at Buffalo, and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). He is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of the University Of Buffalo School Of Management.

Victor Brodsky Mr. Brodsky was appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Kingstone Companies, Inc. in July 2009 and serves as its Principal Financial Officer for SEC purposes, after serving as Chief Accounting Officer since 2007.

Mr. Brodsky's experience includes mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, financings, registration statements and SEC reporting as well as executive management. Prior to joining Kingstone, he served in various senior management capacities. Mr. Brodsky spent 16 years at the CPA firm of Michael & Adest in New York.

Mr. Brodsky earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University in 1981, with a major in accounting and is currently a licensed CPA in New York.

Barry B. Goldstein Mr. Goldstein has been Chairman of the Board of Kingstone Companies since March 2001. Ben Walden

Executive Vice President and Chief Actuary
Ben Walden Ben was hired as Kingstone’s Chief Actuary in December 2013. He has nearly 30 years of actuarial experience in a wide variety of roles, including positions at large multi-line carriers, start-ups, actuarial consulting firms, and smaller regional carriers. Most of Ben’s career has been focused on personal lines insurance. Prior to joining Kingstone, Ben was the Chief Actuary for Interboro Insurance Company, where he focused on the New York Homeowners and Auto insurance markets. As Executive Vice President since 2017, Ben is responsible for the management of the underwriting and IT units, as well as actuarial functions including reserving, pricing, and product development. Ben also acts as the Company’s Chief Information Security Officer.

Ben is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University.

Treasurer
Karl Houseknecht Karl serves on the Board of Kingstone Insurance Company, and has been with the company since 2002 in several management roles including Chief Financial Officer. His twenty five years of insurance industry experience includes management in Reinsurance Accounting at Liberty Regional Agency Markets (Peerless) in Keene NH and both Reinsurance Accounting/Administration and Statutory Reporting at Frontier Insurance Group in Rock Hill, NY. He began his career in the industry with Colonial Indemnity and Colonial Cooperative Insurance Companies, serving first as a Statutory Accountant, and advancing to Accounting Supervisor.

Karl received his BS degree in Accounting from the State University of New York, College at Plattsburgh, and has earned the designation of Associate in Reinsurance (ARe). He is an active member of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA) of the Northeast.
Thomas G. Seccia, Jr.
Thomas G. Seccia, Jr.
Secretary and General Counsel
Thomas G. Seccia, Jr. Thom joined Kingstone Insurance Company in 2008 and serves as its Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Corporate Secretary, General Counsel and General Manager. He also serves as a Director for Kingstone Insurance Company, Chairman of its Nominating Committee and as a Director for the Underwriters Rating Board. Furthermore, he serves as Assistant Secretary for Kingstone Companies, Inc. and is a member of the New York Insurance Association Legal Committee. His prior employment includes 14 years with a New York based property casualty insurance company, serving the company’s various regulatory, reinsurance and risk management needs. In addition, he spent four years litigating with insurance defense firms in New York City and on Long Island.

Thom was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Nassau County. He is a graduate of Chaminade High School and received a BA from the University of Richmond in 1989. He earned a JD from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2004. He holds CPCU, AIC, AU, ARM, ARe, AIS, ARC, AIM, AIT, API, AAI, AMIM, and ACP insurance designations. He was admitted to the NYS Bar and the USDC for the Eastern and Southern Districts of NY in 2004 and is a NYS Notary Public.
David Delaney
David Delaney
SVP, Head of Business Development
David Delaney David Delaney –David joined Kingstone in April of 2016. In this new role, David is responsible for the design and execution of initiatives for expansion into new states. David’s focus is on developing new products, developing new policy administration system solutions, and generating new distribution opportunities to facilitate Kingstone’s controlled growth beyond New York State. Prior to joining Kingstone, David was the Global Head of Catastrophe Risk Management at AIG’s Consumer Lines division. He was responsible for leading strategic initiatives for improving data capture, developing rate adequacy tools, portfolio analytics, and executing reinsurance and risk management strategies. David also worked within the Reinsurance Broker community, as well as, working for Risk Management Solutions (RMS), an industry leader in Catastrophe Modeling solutions.

David holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He earned a Six Sigma greenbelt shortly after college while at General Electric, and he maintains a New York State P&C producers license. He was recognized as a Reactions Magazine “Insurance Industry Top 50 Rising Star” in 2014.
William O’Brien
William O’Brien
SVP, Chief Claims Officer
William O’Brien William O’Brien has over 25 years of P&C experience working for large national, regional and specialty insurance companies serving in multiple leadership and technical claim adjusting roles. He also spent 6 years working for Ernst & Young in their Insurance Advisory and Risk Management practice which provided advisory services to insurance carriers, reinsurers and large self-insureds domestically and internationally. He brings strong leadership in claims management with experience in claims transformation and process improvement to enhance customer experience and improve claim outcomes. In addition to Mr. O’Brien’s leadership and management skills, he has a strong background in severity and expense management which includes litigation, vendor management and technical claims management. He looks forward to building out Kingstone’s claim capabilities to improve efficiency, enhance the customer experience and position them for future profitable growth.
Shannon Matty-Provvisiero
Shannon Matty-Provvisiero
Vice President, Marketing and Agency Relations
Shannon Matty-Provvisiero Shannon joined Kingstone in 2009 and currently serves as a Director for the company and as Vice President of Marketing and Agency Relations. She leads the New York Marketing team and is responsible for growth, profitability, distribution and producer relationships. She also leads the Customer Service team at KICO focusing on increasing the customer experience through technology and improved products and relationships.

Prior to being promoted to Vice President in 2016, Shannon served KICO as its New York State Marketing and Customer Relations Manager. Shannon has taken the lead on many key company projects during her tenure with Kingstone. She has 14 years of insurance industry experience holding various positions involving underwriting, claims and sales on both the carrier and agency side.

Shannon holds a Bachelor's degree from SUNY Old Westbury and maintains her P & C Broker and Agent license in multiple states throughout the northeast.
