Barry B. Goldstein

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Barry B. Goldstein Mr. Goldstein has been Chairman of the Board of Kingstone Companies since March 2001. Since January 2006, Mr. Goldstein has served as Chairman of the Board of Kingstone Insurance Company (“KICO”) (formerly known as Commercial Mutual Insurance Company) as well as its Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Goldstein received his B.A. and M.B.A. from State University of New York at Buffalo, and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). He is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of the University Of Buffalo School Of Management.

Meryl S. Golden Ms. Golden joined Kingstone in September of 2019 as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

Ms. Golden brings over 25 years of insurance experience to Kingstone and will drive strategic priorities and initiatives. Most recently, she was the head of business development for the Insurance Solutions group of Arity, an Allstate subsidiary. Previously she served as the General Manager for the Northeast Region at both Liberty Mutual and Progressive, managing product, pricing, distribution, customer service and claims. Ms. Golden was also the General Manager at Earnix, a technology and analytics company.

Ms. Golden received her MBA from University of Chicago and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania.

Chief Financial Officer
Victor Brodsky Mr. Brodsky was appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Kingstone Companies, Inc. in July 2009 and serves as its Principal Financial Officer for SEC purposes, after serving as Chief Accounting Officer since 2007.

Mr. Brodsky's experience includes mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, financings, registration statements and SEC reporting as well as executive management. Prior to joining Kingstone, he served in various senior management capacities. Mr. Brodsky spent 16 years at the CPA firm of Michael & Adest in New York.

Mr. Brodsky earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University in 1981, with a major in accounting and is currently a licensed CPA in New York.

Ben Walden
Ben Walden
Executive Vice President and Chief Actuary
Ben Walden Ben was hired as Kingstone’s Chief Actuary in December 2013. He has nearly 30 years of actuarial experience in a wide variety of roles, including positions at large multi-line carriers, start-ups, actuarial consulting firms, and smaller regional carriers. Most of Ben’s career has been focused on personal lines insurance. Prior to joining Kingstone, Ben was the Chief Actuary for Interboro Insurance Company, where he focused on the New York Homeowners and Auto insurance markets. As Executive Vice President since 2017, Ben is responsible for the management of the underwriting and IT units, as well as actuarial functions including reserving, pricing, and product development. Ben also acts as the Company’s Chief Information Security Officer.

Ben is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University.

Secretary and General Counsel
Thomas G. Seccia, Jr. Thom joined Kingstone Insurance Company in 2008 and serves as its Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Corporate Secretary, General Counsel and General Manager. He also serves as a Director for Kingstone Insurance Company, Chairman of its Nominating Committee and as a Director for the Underwriters Rating Board. Furthermore, he serves as Assistant Secretary for Kingstone Companies, Inc. and is a member of the New York Insurance Association Legal Committee. His prior employment includes 14 years with a New York based property casualty insurance company, serving the company’s various regulatory, reinsurance and risk management needs. In addition, he spent four years litigating with insurance defense firms in New York City and on Long Island.

Thom was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Nassau County. He is a graduate of Chaminade High School and received a BA from the University of Richmond in 1989. He earned a JD from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2004. He holds CPCU, AIC, AU, ARM, ARe, AIS, ARC, AIM, AIT, API, AAI, AMIM, and ACP insurance designations. He was admitted to the NYS Bar and the USDC for the Eastern and Southern Districts of NY in 2004 and is a NYS Notary Public.
David Delaney
David Delaney
SVP, Head of Business Development
David Delaney David Delaney –David joined Kingstone in April of 2016. In this new role, David is responsible for the design and execution of initiatives for expansion into new states. David’s focus is on developing new products, developing new policy administration system solutions, and generating new distribution opportunities to facilitate Kingstone’s controlled growth beyond New York State. Prior to joining Kingstone, David was the Global Head of Catastrophe Risk Management at AIG’s Consumer Lines division. He was responsible for leading strategic initiatives for improving data capture, developing rate adequacy tools, portfolio analytics, and executing reinsurance and risk management strategies. David also worked within the Reinsurance Broker community, as well as, working for Risk Management Solutions (RMS), an industry leader in Catastrophe Modeling solutions.

David holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He earned a Six Sigma greenbelt shortly after college while at General Electric, and he maintains a New York State P&C producers license. He was recognized as a Reactions Magazine “Insurance Industry Top 50 Rising Star” in 2014.
William O’Brien

SVP, Chief Claims Officer
William O’Brien William O’Brien has over 25 years of P&C experience working for large national, regional and specialty insurance companies serving in multiple leadership and technical claim adjusting roles. He also spent 6 years working for Ernst & Young in their Insurance Advisory and Risk Management practice which provided advisory services to insurance carriers, reinsurers and large self-insureds domestically and internationally. He brings strong leadership in claims management with experience in claims transformation and process improvement to enhance customer experience and improve claim outcomes. In addition to Mr. O’Brien’s leadership and management skills, he has a strong background in severity and expense management which includes litigation, vendor management and technical claims management. He looks forward to building out Kingstone’s claim capabilities to improve efficiency, enhance the customer experience and position them for future profitable growth.
Robert Jacobson

Vice President, Operations Manager
Robert Jacobson Mr. Jacobson joined Kingstone in February 2020 as the company’s Vice President of Operations.

In his role as Vice President, Operations Mr. Jacobson will drive innovation and enhanced performance to the Underwriting, Customer Service, Billing and the Filing Services teams within Kingstone. He brings over 30 years of Insurance Industry experience to Kingstone. Previously he was the Chief Underwriting Officer for AAA/The Auto Club Group and AVP, Zone Underwriting Manager for Safeco/Liberty Mutual.

Mr. Jacobson received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Habitational Resources/Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. He holds insurance designations in Certified Insurance Counselor, Charter Insurance Operations Professional, Customer Experience and Analytics Professional and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Shannon Matty-Provvisiero
Shannon Matty-Provvisiero
Vice President, Marketing and Agency Relations
Shannon Matty-Provvisiero Shannon joined Kingstone in 2009 and currently serves as a Director for the company and as Vice President of Marketing and Agency Relations. She leads the New York Marketing team and is responsible for growth, profitability, distribution and producer relationships. She also leads the Customer Service team at KICO focusing on increasing the customer experience through technology and improved products and relationships.

Prior to being promoted to Vice President in 2016, Shannon served KICO as its New York State Marketing and Customer Relations Manager. Shannon has taken the lead on many key company projects during her tenure with Kingstone. She has 14 years of insurance industry experience holding various positions involving underwriting, claims and sales on both the carrier and agency side.

Shannon holds a Bachelor's degree from SUNY Old Westbury and maintains her P & C Broker and Agent license in multiple states throughout the northeast.

Vice President, Senior Product Manager
Eva Paxhia Eva Paxhia joined Kingstone in January of 2020. In this new role, Eva is responsible for managing all products in the state of New York. Eva’s focus is on profitable growth of existing products in New York and developing new products.

Eva brings over 30 years of insurance experience in a variety of roles. Most recently, she was a Product Director at State Auto Insurance Company. She also held multiple leadership roles with Nationwide Insurance Company.

Eva is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Miami University.

Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Sriram Seshadri Sriram Seshadri (Sri) joined Kingstone in February of 2020 as the company’s Chief Information Officer.

Sri has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry and close to 9 years in the P&C Insurance space. Sri has been a CIO in the Insurance Industry for the last 4 years. Prior to this, Sri spent a number of years in Data & Analytics, Digital and Project Management. Sri brings a fine blend of Technology, Insurance and Leadership skills.

Sri completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from New York University (NYU) – Stern School of Business and his Bachelors in Engineering from Bharathiar University, India.
Rich Swartz

Treasurer and Chief Accounting Officer
Rich Swartz Mr. Swartz was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer of Kingstone Insurance Company and Kingstone Companies, and Treasurer of Kingstone Insurance Company in April 2020. Mr. Swartz joined Kingstone in 2017 as Corporate Controller and successfully streamlined existing processes as well as implemented new efficient processes. Prior to Kingstone, Mr. Swartz worked in public accounting at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause. Mr. Swartz earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Seton Hall and earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business.
